Platformer game is coming along
Well, progress has been slow but steady. The game now has a fully integrated menu system.
Currently, I have the main menu, Settings menu with working sound and music toggles, and a credits menu. All of these are in my opinion, code complete, and just need proper art instead of my placeholder stuff…
Ive had to become a bit more adventurous lately, with some parts of cocos2d being inadequate. Ive written my own NSUserdefaults class, to make saving and loading settings easier, and Ive also heavily customised a new label class for custom fonts. This was because the default settings weren’t really cutting it for me.
Ive also added a few little things to the actual game, but Ive just been fixing bugs and optimising the crap out of it before I start making it into the final product (i still need to plan the actual gameplay).
